Dr. Redondo is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in advanced joint replacement techniques, with a focus on the anterior approach for hip replacement, robotic-assisted joint replacement, and complex revision surgery. He is dedicated to helping patients restore mobility, reduce pain, and return to active, independent lifestyles through personalized and precise surgical care.
Dr. Redondo is known for combining innovative surgical technology with a compassionate, patient-centered approach. He performs direct anterior hip replacements using minimally invasive techniques that minimize muscle disruption and support a quicker recovery. He employs robotic-assisted systems that allow for a highly customized and precise fit, improving alignment, stability, and long-term results. In addition, Dr. Redondo has extensive expertise in revision joint replacement, providing advanced solutions for patients with previous joint replacements requiring repair or replacement.
Dr. Redondo completed his Adult Reconstruction Fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where he trained in the latest methods for complex hip and knee reconstruction. He completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the University of Illinois Chicago, following a Master’s Degree in Medical Science from Loyola University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Redondo enjoys spending time with his wife, Eva, and their family.
