Bio
Dr. Branovacki is an orthopedic specialist who completed his adult reconstruction fellowship training at Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, California. He is a graduate of Northwestern University Medical School and completed his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at University of Illinois at Chicago.
His specialty is Adult Reconstructive Surgery and Sports Medicine. Dr. Branovacki has interest in cartilage preservation, restoration surgery and total joint revisions. He performs surgery using new advanced technology such as an IPOD to increase joint placement accuracy.
Dr. Branovacki does the most replacement revisions in the southern suburbs and is head of Total Joint Reconstruction at Advocate Christ Medical Center.
In his career, Dr. Branovacki has performed more than 10,000 surgeries through 2021 – over 6,000 of them being total joint replacements, inclusive of some of the most complex reconstructions and revisions in Chicagoland.
Dr. Branovacki is one of the first surgeons in Illinois to use VERASENSE™ sensor-assisted wireless device – an orthopaedic breakthrough technology used during total knee replacement!
He is a member of American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Academy of Hip and Knee Surgeons, and International Society for Technology in Arthroplasty.
