Dr. Luis J. Redondo specializes in adult reconstructive surgery, including total joint replacement, sports medicine, and viscosupplementation. He completed his orthopaedic surgical residency at Rush Medical Center in Chicago and graduated from medical school at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He was certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in July 1993,re-certified in June 2003, and received his sub-specialty board certification in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine in November 2008, also from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Redondo is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and the American Board of Sports Medicine, and a member of the Chicago Medical Society and the Illinois Medical Association. He holds an appointment as Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Illinois Medical Center, and is fluent in Spanish.
